OREGON EDUCATION AND TEACHERS STANDARDS
This blog is unedited...UNDER CONTRUCTION BEWARE !
What you read today might be gone and revised in a few minutes.
But isn't that the new age of technology ???
These standards are listed consicely into six catagories listed in our EDUC 520 website. Please see details under the heading that looks like this:
OTES,INTASC,
How can we as future teachers begin to plan ? By the time we are employed in our own classroom, the technology that we are learned now will have advanced and morphed into a different form.
So how do we prepare ???
We follow those standards ourselves. We stay abreast of all new technology and use it in our classes in the ASPIRE 2011 program. We continue to push and challange ourselves to usw and learn new tools on WEB 2.0 and any other sites we can get our hands on!
In this way we will contantly be involved in technology changes. As we learned in ED PSYCH,
we are students that must learn to adapt to tech changes, learn the skills and apply them in our classrooms.
Since we do not have a classroom yet, then we must use our skills in all our classes and life situations. WE must be bold. we must use technology in all aspects of our lives. This will insure that we will be the best teachers using technology in our classroom.
